Twinings Peppermint Tea Review


I'm a huge fan of tea. As much as I love hot chocolate and coffee drinks in the morning, they always seem very "heavy" and too rich to drink daily. Tea has always felt more soothing, and has a much lighter feeling for me. As much as love the flavor of certain teas, I really enjoy using herbal teas for medicinal uses. On top of my go to list, is peppermint tea. Whenever I have an upset stomach, feeling nauseous, even anxiety, this has always been a calming favorite for me. I love to drink it first thing in the morning when I wake up. It's minty and refreshing! I've tried a few brands, but Twinings is the only one I've found that isn't bitter. Its very smooth, and delicious. Tea is very simple to prepare. I just boil 2 cups of water, and steep the tea bag for a few minutes before drinking.

  • Earl Grey
  • Chai
  • Litchi
  • Jasmine
  • Chamomile
  • Sage
  • Sleepy Time (Celestial Seasonings.)
  • Green Tea
  • Black Tea
 And probably several others that I can't think of :-) I watched Marie Antoinette the other night, and I swear I was mesmerized by all of the tea and desserts. I wouldn't mind having a tea party soon!

  1. I need to get back into tea. I haven't had any since I OD'ed on Hibiscus (I used to drink this almost daily!) in December. Eeehhhhh

    1. I don't blame you! I've done that before, took a while before I got back into teas. Peppermint is so incredibly soothing, good one to start off with.
