Here are a few photos from our Christmas<3 I kept it simple, & decorated with gold and white. I decorated our tree with gold and shimmery ornaments from Micheal's Art's and Crafts store. I purchased them with a 20% off coupon (I never step into this store without a coupon! So simple to google, or find one in the local paper.). Instead of hanging the ornaments with wire hooks, I purchased cream ribbon, and looped/tied it on every bulb to hang.

Last year, while searching the dollar store for stocking stuffers, I actually found these cream velvety stockings for a dollar a piece! I only found three of them :( but it looked cute either way. I hung a gold ornament through the tie to add an embellishment. (I usually use my red stockings from Target, but this year I wanted to stick to the white and gold theme<3)

This year I made a traditional Mexican Christmas dinner. This was the ponche (Hot fruit punch) I made. (I'll add a recipe in the next few posts.)

For dessert (along with fresh baked cookies!) I made pastel de tres leches (Rum Cake made with 3 milks.) Its a delicious, and very rich Mexican rum cake. Its drenched with 3 different type of milks, and topped with hand whipped cream. I'll post a recipe as well this next week :-)
What traditional food does your family make? I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
