When I went to Starbucks, I was ecstatic when I saw they had Hibiscus tea on their menu! Granted, their version is probably a little on the sweet side (lots of sugar!!!) lol, but generally Hibiscus tea is very healthy. I've read online, that like many herbal teas, it has a lot of health benefits to it. Its not very easy to find in our regular grocery store, but I can always find it in any Mexican Grocery store =)
Hibiscus Leaves
Here's my recipe =)
1 handful of dried Hibiscus Flowers (Or in Spanish Flor de Jamaica.)
A few glass water bottles
Sugar (According to taste.)
Its so easy to make! I just open the water bottles, add a palm full of leaves, a TBSP of sugar, and let it soak for about an hour. The longer it soaks, the stronger the tea :-) Throw it in the fridge to chill, strain, and enjpy! I swear this is the most refreshing drink ever. I hope you like it!
